Job summary

Del Amo Behavioral Health System, a subsidiary of UHS, seeks a Pharmacy Technician to assist Directors and Pharmacists in compounding, filling and dispensing pharmaceuticals in the hospital pharmacy, adhering to state and federal regulations.

Under direct supervision, this role supports patient care within UHS’s behavioral health network, with opportunities for professional development and comprehensive benefits for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Completion of a pharmacy technician vocational course/program.
• Current licensure/registration as a Pharmacy Technician through the State of California Board of Pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision, assists the Director of Pharmacy and Staff Pharmacists to compound, fill and dispense pharmaceutical preparations at the hospital pharmacy in accordance with state, federal and Board of Pharmacy regulations.
