Job summary

Qualifications

• Completed accredited Pharmacy Technician program or equivalent
• 1 year experience as a pharmacy technician in acute care preferred
• Knowledge of computer systems to maintain medication profiles and pharmacy records

Responsibilities

• Provides consistently exceptional care at all times.
• Prepares medication orders for inpatients and outpatients.
• Uses computer system to assist in dispensing and inquiries.
• Picks up orders and delivers medications to nursing units.
• Maintains medication profiles and inventory in accordance with regulations.
• Assists with compounding sterile products and preparing doses as directed.
