Job summary

Universal Health Services (UHS) invites applications for a part-time Pharmacy Technician at Del Amo Behavioral Health System in California. Under supervision, you will assist pharmacists with compounding, filling and dispensing medications in compliance with state and federal regulations.

The position requires availability for at least 3 shifts per month (Mondays, Fridays) and one weekend shift per month, within a hospital pharmacy setting.

Qualifications

Education: Completion of a pharmacy technician vocational course/program required.
Credentials: Current licensure/registration as a Pharmacy Technician through the State of California Board of Pharmacy.

Responsibilities

Under direct supervision, assists the Director of Pharmacy and Staff Pharmacists to compound, fill and dispense pharmaceutical preparations at the hospital pharmacy within the laws, rules and regulations of the State, Federal and Board of Pharmacy agencies.
Must be able to provide minimum availability for 3 shifts per month, Mondays and Fridays and 1 weekend shift per month.
