Job summary

OhioHealth seeks a Certified Pharmacy Technician to interpret, prepare/compound, label, and distribute pharmacy products for patient use in a hospital setting. You will handle IV medications where applicable, process refill requests, and ensure accurate documentation in line with department policy.

Under supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, you will participate in medication distribution, stock management, and process-improvement activities, contributing to a safe, efficient pharmacy

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) with Ohio Board of Pharmacy.
• Strong communication skills and data interpretation ability.
• Knowledge of compounding, pharmacy operations, medical terminology, and drug names.

Responsibilities

• Prepare/compound a range of therapies and label products for distribution.
• Participate in medication distribution processes: ordering, receiving, stocking, dispensing.
• Assist in process improvement and associate training.
• Document preparation activities and ensure compliance with policies.
