Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital in Fayetteville, GA is seeking an experienced Pharmacist leader to manage hospital pharmacy operations and ensure continuous, compliant patient care. The role includes staff management, unit dose operations, IV room oversight, and daytime-to-night shift coverage as needed.

The ideal candidate has an ACPE-accredited pharmacy degree, at least 3 years of hospital pharmacy experience, and is licensed as a pharmacist in Georgia (PHARM-R).

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years hospital pharmacy experience.
• Management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure pharmacy provides superior services and complies with legal, accreditation and certification requirements.
• Ensure patient care remains uninterrupted 24/7.
• Oversee scheduling, performance evaluation and staff development for pharmacy staff.
• Oversee daily unit dose operations and IV room/OR-ICU satellite activities.
• Perform duties of Staff Pharmacist as needed.
