Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to support high-quality patient care around the clock. You will assist the Director of Pharmacy in ensuring compliance with legal, accreditation, and hospital standards for the storage and preparation of pharmaceuticals, while maintaining uninterrupted patient services.
The ideal candidate will have an ACPE-accredited degree, at least 3 years of hospital pharmacy experience, and experience with pharmacy computer systems; management
Qualifications
- Graduate of ACPE-accredited pharmacy school with a Bachelor's degree or higher.
- Minimum 3 years of hospital pharmacy experience.
- Experience and/or training in pharmacy computer systems is required.
- Management experience preferred.
Responsabilités
- Assist the Director of Pharmacy in ensuring compliance with legal, accreditation, and hospital standards for the storage and preparation of pharmaceuticals.
- Ensure patient care remains uninterrupted, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
- Manage pharmacy staff, including scheduling, performance evaluation, and improvement.
- Oversee daily unit dose operations and IV room/OR/ICU Satellite activities.
- Perform duties of a Staff Pharmacist as needed.
