Job summary

Keck Medicine of USC in the Los Angeles area seeks a Pharmacy Operations Manager to oversee daily operations of the hospital pharmacy and provide pharmaceutical care as needed.

This role supports the Director of Pharmacy, ensures regulatory and accrediting standards are maintained, and steps in for the Director when required, maintaining a professional presence and meeting hospital goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum experience in hospital/pharmacy settings (e.g., Cardinal Health or hospital pharmacist)
• Proficiency in age-specific therapies for hospital patients (neonatal to geriatric)
• Strong leadership and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily operations of the hospital pharmacy
• Provides pharmaceutical care as staff pharmacist as needed
• Assists Director of Pharmacy to maintain regulatory/accreditation standards
• Maintains professional presence across the hospital
• Assumes Director of Pharmacy duties in their absence
