Job summary

USC in Los Angeles is seeking a Pharmacy Manager of Operations to oversee day-to-day operations of the Pharmacy and assist the Director in achieving department goals. The role includes maintaining and optimizing the EHR platform used by the department.

Responsibilities include coordinating workload, supervising staff, recruiting, training, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards, including USP 797/800, and participating in hospital committees. Must have Pharm.D.

Qualifications

• Pharm.D. degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy.
• At least 2 years hospital experience as a Pharmacist in an Acute Care Hospital Pharmacy Environment.
• At least 2 years experience using Cerner EHR, specifically Pharmacy Module.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operation of the Pharmacy and assist the Director in achieving department goals.
• Coordinate daily workload to meet the department's needs.
• Oversee daily departmental activities and ensure quality and safety standards.
• Design, troubleshooting, and enhancements of the pharmacy electronic software platform and EHR.
• Participate in hospital committees and ensure compliance with USP 797/800 standards.
