Job summary

Cornerstone Specialty Hospitals Broken Arrow is seeking a Pharmacy Manager who will serve as Pharmacist in Charge and report to the Market Director of Pharmacy. The role oversees daily department activities, staff, and the dispensing/clinical functions of the pharmacy to ensure regulatory compliance and continuous quality improvement.

The incumbent will lead education, orientation, and SOP adherence, manage drug procurement and dispensing, and review therapies for safety and effectiveness,

Qualifications

• BS or PharmD from an accredited School of Pharmacy.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the state where the hospital is located with BLS within 90 days.
• Minimum of one year pharmacist experience; hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily department activities and staff scheduling.
• Dispense medications and perform clinical functions as Pharmacist in Charge.
• Develop systems to ensure regulatory compliance and quality assurance.
• Provide education, orientation, and SOP guidance to staff.
• Oversee drug procurement, distribution, preparation, and clinical monitoring.
• Review drug therapy for appropriateness, safety, and efficacy.
• Maintain accurate patient profiles via computer order entry.
• Provide timely drug information and support to staff and physicians.
