Job summary

Froedtert Health in West Bend, WI is seeking a Pharmacy Intern 2 for an on-site role. You will receive, sort, compound and prepare medication orders under a pharmacist's supervision and may assist in sterile product preparation and training of Pharmacy Intern 1.

Applicants should be enrolled in a Doctor of Pharmacy program and complete a competency checklist within three months of orientation. Wisconsin registration must be obtained within 12 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of hospital pharmacy internship experience preferred.
• Accepted into a Doctor of Pharmacy program at a degree-granting institution.
• Must complete a competency checklist within three months of orientation.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical, distributive and administrative duties under a pharmacist.
• Receive, sort, compound, process and prepare medication orders.
• May prepare sterile products and assist in training Pharmacy Intern 1.
• Progressively assume more responsibility under supervision.
