Job summary

JobRx, Inc. in West Allis, WI is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team. Under supervision, you will fill medication orders, deliver meds, and assist with sterile and non-sterile preparations, while obtaining patient medication histories.

You will perform clerical duties, manage medication ordering and inventory, and interpret outpatient prescriptions into the pharmacy system. The role requires accurate communication, computer skills, and teamwork in a hospital

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED and be enrolled in a College of Pharmacy in the 1st year.
• Proficient computer skills required.
• Strong communication, analytical and organizational abilities required.

Responsibilities

• Fills medication orders and delivers medications under pharmacist supervision.
• Compounds sterile and non-sterile preparations as needed.
• Interviews patients to obtain medication histories and enters prescriptions into the pharmacy system.
• Performs clerical duties to support efficient pharmacy operations and manages medication ordering and inventory.
