Job summary

Froedtert Health in West Bend, WI is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacist in the processing of medication orders and drug therapy monitoring at our West Bend Hospital facility. This on-site role involves assisting with procurement, measurement, preparation, counting and delivery of medications under supervision.

A high school diploma and completion of an approved technician program are required or preferred; Wisconsin registration is needed by hire date with potential CPhT

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate of an accredited pharmacy technician training program is preferred.
• Registration as a Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician by hire date is required.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical and clerical assistance to the pharmacist in processing medication orders and monitoring drug therapy.
• Procure, measure, compound, count, and deliver medications under supervision.
• Functions within Wisconsin Pharmacy practice guidelines and board regulations.
