Job summary

UCSF Health is seeking an Intern Pharmacist to join the Department of Pharmaceutical Services. You will dispense and distribute medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist and contribute to clinical pharmacy services across UCSF campuses.

The role requires a California-licensed intern pharmacist candidate, with availability for weekends and holidays, and the ability to work across UCSF Health sites.

Qualifications

• Mathematical calculations and knowledge of pharmaceutical compounding techniques.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions and medication distribution under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Provide clinical pharmacy services under supervision.
• Participate in computer data entry of medications and prescriptions as directed by a pharmacist.
• Progressively take on more clinical responsibilities as abilities develop.
