Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) required.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Registered Pharmacist in PA and/or NY within 120 days.
• Hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process prescriptions: perform prospective drug review, ensure safe, accurate dispensing, and cost-effective therapies.
• Provide drug information and interventions to health professionals and patients; document outcomes.
• Supervise and train pharmacy staff; oversee inventory and compliance with regulations; ensure safe handling of controlled substances.
• Support department operations with computer tasks, labeling, and phone communications.
