Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).
• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Registered Pharmacist in PA and/or NY at hire or within 120 days.
• Hospital experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Process prescriptions with prospective drug review to identify drug-related problems and ensure safe, effective therapies.
• Provide accurate and timely drug information to health professionals, patients, and the public; document interventions and outcomes.
• Assist department management by supervising staff, training residents and students, and overseeing inventory.
• Ensure controlled substances are stored and dispensed per regulations and maintain a safe, compliant environment.
• Contribute to safety and compliance initiatives and support performance improvement efforts.
• May serve as Night Pharmacist, triaging and delegating nightly activities and resolving medication-related problems.
