Job summary

Boca Raton Regional Hospital is seeking a Telecommunications Operator to manage a multi-position PBX switchboard, relay calls, monitor alarms, and perform paging for codes and patient information.

This full-time role requires at least one year of customer service and basic computer knowledge; a high school diploma or equivalent is required, with an associate degree preferred. Schedule: 2:30 PM–11:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of one year customer service experience and basic computer knowledge.
• Degrees: High School,Cert,GED,Trn,Exper.
• Associate of Arts desired.

Responsibilities

• Operates multiple-position telephone switchboard to relay calls for hospitals and Doctors Answering Service.
• Performs miscellaneous telecommunications and clerical duties.
• Monitors all hospital alarms and performs code paging.
• Provides patient information and delivers exceptional service to callers.
