Trinity Health is seeking a Part-Time Transporter at Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital in Darby, PA. Evening shift with weekend and holiday rotation.

The transporter will move patients within the hospital using appropriate equipment, ensuring safety and timeliness. Responsibilities include exercising good judgment for transportation, respecting patients with empathy, maintaining safety during transfers, and adhering to infection control practices.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior hospital transport or patient care experience preferred.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required.

Responsabilidades

• Transport patients throughout the hospital using appropriate equipment, safely and in a timely manner.
• Demonstrate good judgment in selecting the proper mode of transportation.
• Be respectful to patients, showing compassion and empathy.
• Maintain patient safety during transport to ancillary areas and on return to unit.
• Follow proper infection control practices and precautions in all patient care activities.
