Job summary

Trinity Health at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, PA is seeking a part-time Patient Transport team member to join our Central Transport department.

You will rotate shifts with weekends and holidays, transport patients by stretcher or wheelchair, report safety hazards, assist in lifting, and maintain clean equipment while delivering safe, compassionate care. This is a per diem, part-time role with rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR certification issued by AHA (onboarding if offered).
• 1 year of hospital experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients throughout the hospital as directed.
• Observes safety hazards and reports to Lead Transporter for repair.
• Transports patients on stretchers, beds and wheelchairs within campus.
• Reports concerns of patients and events during transport to appropriate staff.
• Assists in lifting patients using proper techniques.
• Cleans wheelchairs and ensures adequate supply in each area.
• Keeps an incident log of transports.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
