Job summary

Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies is seeking a Group Lead, Patient Transportation to supervise and coordinate transport services within the hospital. This role supports patient care and ancillary operations while ensuring safety and timely service delivery.

The successful candidate will guide a team, dispatch and track patient transports, and maintain equipment and documentation in accordance with Joint Commission standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Six months experience as a transporter required.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate activities of Transportation Services personnel.
• Dispatch and efficiently coordinate transport tracking while communicating with care providers.
• Conduct ongoing training and ensure compliance with policies and safety standards.
• Monitor productivity and patient response times and maintain records.
• Maintain equipment and assist in safe patient handling and transfers.
