Job summary

ProMedica's Monroe Regional Hospital is seeking a dedicated Patient Transporter to assist in moving patients across the facility. You will help lift, turn, and transfer patients to transport equipment with proper technique and RN approval, while ensuring safety.

Responsibilities include cleaning equipment after use, reporting defects, monitoring patient condition during transport, and delivering clinical items such as IV pumps and oxygen tanks as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: HS graduate or equivalent; certification as HCP.
• Successful completion of training in equipment usage and infection control.
• Competent in patient mobility and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Transports and assists in lifting, turning and transferring patients with RN approval.
• Cleans and maintains transport equipment and reports defects promptly.
• Monitors patient condition during transport and delivers clinical equipment as needed.
