Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Per Diem Food Service Worker at Newton-Wellesley Hospital to provide patient meal service in a fast-paced environment. You will ensure accuracy of orders, adhere to dietary restrictions, and collaborate with Call Center staff to meet patient needs.

You will support nutrition services by recording intake data, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting with transport of meals as required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of food service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of food service kitchens, safety and cleanliness.
• Demonstrates strong communication skills, including reading and understanding English.

Responsibilities

• Serves meals to patients in a professional, courteous and efficient manner.
• Records nutrient intake from meals for patients on calorie counts.
• Enters meal orders into CBORD and coordinates with nursing units.
