Job summary

TouchPoint Support Services in Panama City, FL is hiring immediately for Patient Observation Assistant roles. Full-time and part-time shift options with rotating weekends and holidays; typical schedule Monday to Friday with hours varying. No prior related experience required, but candidates with healthcare exposure are preferred.

Paid training provided to all associates as part of Compass Group. In this role you will visually and audibly monitor patients under RN direction, complete observation

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent is required.
• CPR AED or BLS-HCP certification within 30 days if required at the facility.
• Ability to walk or stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• One to two years of previous experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Visually and audibly monitor the assigned patient’s condition at all times.
• Complete observation reports at established intervals.
• Respond to patient needs with compassionate, hospitable care and assist with safety and comfort.
• Assist with keeping patient’s room safe and orderly and accompany patient for diagnostics.
