Job summary

Exalt Health is seeking a Food Service Aide to support our patient care team by assisting in meal preparation, plating, and delivery in a hospital setting.

You will ensure meals meet dietary needs, maintain sanitation, and interact with patients, staff, and visitors in a courteous manner. This role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Hold a current Food Handler's Certification recognized in Florida, Texas, or Arizona.
• Experience in healthcare food service is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Food preparation according to standardized recipes and menus.
• Plating and serving patient meals with accuracy and timeliness.
• Cafeteria service for staff and visitors with a clean, organized area.
• Dishwashing and sanitation of kitchen equipment and spaces.
• Interact with patients in a friendly, professional manner.
• Adhere to HIPAA privacy and protect patient information.
• Assist with deliveries, stocking supplies, and other duties as assigned.
