Job summary

Atlantic Health System is seeking a motivated food service aide to prepare and serve meals in hospital dining areas and patient rooms. The role includes assembling meal trays, restocking stations, and assisting on the tray line with food presentation and safety standards.

Responsibilities include interacting with patients to take orders, delivering meals, and supporting kitchen operations. A High School diploma and at least one year of related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in a food service environment preferred.
• Ability to interact with patients and customers.
• Knowledge of food safety and proper serving temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Assembles and delivers patient meal trays.
• Restocks workstation and cleans as needed.
• Assists in food preparation of salads, hot and cold items, or bakery goods.
• Interacts with patients to take meal orders and ensure satisfaction.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen and dining areas.
