Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring Patient Dining Associates (Dietary Aide) at Prisma Health Greer, SC. Roles include preparing and delivering meals, assisting patients with menu selections, and ensuring safety and accuracy of orders. Full-time and part-time schedules are available, with 7:00 am–4:00 pm shifts and rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, as well as maneuver and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and work with nursing to ensure orders meet nutritional requirements.
• Determine menu alternatives for patients with allergies, dietary restrictions, or cultural/preferences.
• Manage tray tickets and assemble meals according to each patient’s selection; retrieve trays on time.
• Adhere to HIPAA and confidentiality policies; follow regulatory standards.
• Follow HACCP guidelines for food handling and sanitation.
• Support dietitians; monitor patients on special diets as required.
• Report problems to the appropriate personnel promptly.
• Complete daily, weekly or monthly reports as required.
• Comply with health and sanitation regulations and department procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
