Job summary

Wentworth-Douglass Hospital, part of Mass General Brigham, is looking for a Nursing Assistant to join our patient care team. The role involves providing basic nursing care, assisting with bathing, dressing, eating, mobility and toileting, and taking vital signs per policy.

You'll support physicians and licensed nurses, document changes, and help ensure patient comfort and safety. A High School Diploma or equivalent, BLS, and NH LNA license are required, with 1–2 years of relevant experience

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
• Nursing Assistant (LNA - New Hampshire) license required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and record vital signs and weights per policy.
• Provide hands-on patient/client care.
• Provide grooming and personal care to patients/clients.
• Feed or assist patients with meals and provide additional nourishment and hydration per the care plan.
• Assist physicians and/or licensed nurses with treatments and procedures as needed.
• Report changes in patients' conditions, as well as patient/family concerns or complaints, to the charge nurse and/or supervisor.
