Job summary

Mass General Brigham's Newton-Wellesley Hospital is seeking a Nursing Assistant (LNA) to support registered nurses in delivering safe patient care. You will assist with vital signs, bathing, telemetry basics, and daily caregiving tasks in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Under supervision, you will help with room preparation, specimen collection, documentation, and coordination with the medical team. Prior healthcare experience is preferred, with a High School Diploma or equivalent and BLS

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Healthcare experience 1-2 years preferred/required.

Responsibilities

• Take and document vital signs and basic patient assessments.
• Assist RN and physicians with exams and treatments.
• Ensure patient rooms are stocked, equipped, and cleaned.
• Collect specimens and document results.
• Document patient information (height, weight, intake/output, glucose).
• Assist with meals and feeding, when needed.
• Communicate with nursing staff about patient conditions and needs.
• Greet and direct Medical Staff, patients, and visitors.
