Job summary

Allina Health in Minnesota is hiring a full-time painter for the United Hospital facilities. You will perform interior and exterior painting, wall finishing, staining, and refinishing of equipment, with emphasis on safety and quality.

The role requires surface prep, patching, sanding, and using brushes, rollers, spray equipment. Shift is day, 8 hours, 40 hours per week, with no weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and meet the required functional competencies listed in the job description.
• 2+ years of painting experience; hospital setting preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; journeyman painter training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting and perform drywall patching.
• Paint interior and exterior surfaces using latex, oil, epoxy, varnish, or lacquer.
• Hang wall coverings and maintain clean, safe work areas.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine shop equipment care.
