Job summary

Eskenazi Health, the public hospital division of the Health & Hospital Corporation of Marion County, seeks an Outpatient Pharmacy Technician. You will perform prescription order preparation up to the final pharmacist check and provide direct and indirect customer service to patients.

You will work with Epic systems (Epic Willow Ambulatory, Epic Inventory) and RMS Point of Sale, maintain workflow, and support regulatory readiness for inspections.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Indiana Pharmacy Technician license or Technician in Training required.
• Demonstrable mathematical knowledge and pass screening math test.
• Training program must be completed within 122 days.

Responsibilities

• Performs all aspects of prescription order preparation up to the final pharmacist check and dispensing.
• Provides direct and indirect customer service to patients.
• Utilizes Epic, Epic Willow Ambulatory, Epic Inventory, RMS Point of Sale, and automated dispensing cabinets.
• Maintains efficient workflow by adjusting to changes in volume and staffing.
