The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and an Indiana Pharmacy Technician license (or Technician in Training). Training will be completed within 122 days, with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and patient care.

The Outpatient Pharmacy Technician performs all technical duties within their scope under the law to practice at the highest skill level of licensure. This includes all aspects of prescription order preparation up to the final pharmacist check. Technicians provide all aspects of direct and indirect customer service with patients in person and on the phone. Technicians perform many other duties to provide excellent pharmaceutical and customer service.
