Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, nursing, public health, or related field.
• Master's degree in healthcare administration (MHA), MBA, MPH, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of healthcare leadership experience.
• Experience managing hospital operations, physician practices, emergency services, ambulatory services, or service lines.
• Accreditation and survey readiness experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the CEO in directing the day-to-day operations of the hospital.
• Oversee departmental performance to ensure operational efficiency and achievement of organizational objectives.
• Collaborate with department leaders to improve workflows, patient throughput, and resource utilization.
• Monitor KPIs and implement corrective action plans when necessary.
• Lead special projects related to facility growth, service line development, and operational improvement.
• Assist in developing and managing departmental and organizational budgets.
• Monitor revenues, expenses, labor costs, supply utilization, and productivity metrics.
• Identify opportunities for cost containment and operational efficiencies.
• Participate in financial forecasting, strategic planning, and capital expenditure processes.
• Promote a culture of patient safety, quality improvement, and risk management.
