PetVet Care Centers’ Hospital Manager in Hattiesburg, MS leads the hospital support team, partnering with the veterinarian to drive efficient operations, quality patient care, and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, health science or related field strongly preferred.
• Direct office management experience with supervisory background is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises staff across hospital support departments and achieves labor goals.
• Hires and trains office and technical clinic staff; handles new hire paperwork.
• Orients and trains new staff to hospital procedures and duties.
• Reviews performance, provides feedback, and addresses personnel issues.
• Conducts timely performance appraisals and maintains safety records.
• Manages budgeting, purchasing, and maintenance of facilities and equipment.
• Oversees billing, vendor invoices, and contract management as applicable.
• Ensures compliance with licensure and local regulations.
