Job summary

PetVet Care Centers seeks a Multi-Site Hospital Manager in Hattiesburg, MS to lead hospital support teams and partner with veterinarians for efficient operations and profitability.

Key duties include staffing, training, budgeting, compliance, and process improvement, with a strong focus on quality patient care and customer service. Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in office management are preferred, with weekend/holiday flexibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, health science or related field preferred.
• Minimum five years of direct office management experience, with at least two years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervises staff across hospital support departments and achieves labor goals.
• Hires and trains office and technical staff; manages new hire paperwork.
• Orients and trains new clinic staff to hospital operations and duties.
• Reviews performance, delivers feedback, and discusses issues with Regional Manager.
• Conducts timely performance appraisals and documents incidents.
• Writes policies and procedures for technical aspects and seeks approval.
• Manages staff schedules and coordinates with the DVM.
• Monitors overtime and ensures proper workforce management.
• Oversees daily operations and compliance with administrative responsibilities.
• Reviews revenue, labor, and expenses with leadership via weekly calls.
• Manages local accounting functions and ensures financial accuracy.
• Oversees inventory management and billing practices as needed.
