Job summary

New Mexico Department of Health is seeking a senior operations leader for the NM Behavioral Health Institute (NMBHI) campus. You will oversee all facility operations, budgeting, and program support, working with the Executive Director to ensure safety, licensing compliance, and accreditation adherence.

You will supervise staff, manage capital projects, and coordinate with facilities management and DOH senior leadership to maintain high standards of care and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience with hospital/facility management.
• Experience managing operations and maintenance budgets.
• Experience implementing policies, procedures, and competency.
• Experience in compliance with local, state, federal, and accreditation codes.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of operations and budgets for the facility and campus.
• Supervise assigned staff and oversee communication with DOH Senior Management and Facilities Management.
• Coordinate capital projects, dietary, housekeeping, medical records, maintenance, security, and HR.
• Ensure a safe environment for patients and employees and compliance with licensing standards.
