Job summary

Providence Health & Services in California seeks a Staff Occupational Therapist to evaluate, plan, direct and administer medically prescribed occupational therapy programs within the hospital setting.

You will help patients regain maximum function after disease or injury, and may mentor staff and students while contributing to department performance improvement, infection control, and safety education initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in acute care, skilled nursing facility, outpatient, and/or subacute care settings.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, direct and administer medically prescribed occupational therapy programs to restore function and prevent disability.

Education

Graduate of the American Occupational Therapy Association training program

Environmental orientation within 30 days of hire

California occupational therapist license

National provider BLS – American Heart Association
