Job summary

MercyOne Clinton Medical Center is hiring a Nutrition Services Worker to prepare patient trays, serve meals in the café or dining areas, and assist with dishwashing and cleaning. You will stock supplies, set up service areas, and support special functions as part of a collaborative team.

The role is full-time (32 hours/week, 0.8 FTE) with weekend and holiday rotation. A high school diploma is preferred and a valid driver’s license may be required for transporting meals to other sites.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and understand labels, production orders, and storeroom set-up.
• Must have the ability to learn special diets.
• Must have valid Driver’s License if required to transport meals to other sites.
• Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.
• Must possess a personal presence that is characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity, and caring with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the philosophy, mission and vision, goals, and values of Trinity Health.
• Must possess the ability to comply with Trinity Health policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient trays; serve patients and visitors in café or assigned dining area; wash dishes, including pots and pans; clean assigned work areas; put away stock; set up service and special functions.
• Operate the cash register, following proper cash procedures and the role of transporter.
