Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or GED (Required).
• Must be at least 18 years old (Required).
• Registered as Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) with Ohio Board of Pharmacy (Required).
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow procedures.
• Knowledge of pharmacy terminology and hospital pharmacy operations.

Aufgaben

• Under supervision of a Registered Pharmacist: prepares/compounds, labels, and distributes pharmacy products for patient use.
• May prepare IV medications using specialized equipment.
• Process refill requests for non-monitored medications and enter/track distributions.
• Participate in process improvement activities and training of new staff.
• Adhere to safety, quality, and efficiency standards as an HRO.
