Job summary

OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital is seeking a part-time Certified Pharmacy Technician to join the Retail Pharmacy on the day shift. The role involves interpreting, preparing/compounding, labeling, and distributing pharmacy products for patient use, with attention to patient age and safety, including potential IV medication preparation where applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Registered as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy.
• Knowledge of pharmacy operations, compounding, and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, perform tasks defined in policy, procedures, or standard of therapy.
• Prepares/compounds a comprehensive range of therapies, and documents preparation activities.
• Accounts for labeling and distribution of pharmacy products for final dispensing.
• Participates in process improvement activities and new associate training as needed.
