Job summary

Holzer Health System in Ohio is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician for night shifts on a Friday-Thursday schedule, 7 days on/7 days off. You will support storage, distribution, packaging, labeling of medications, and related patient charging processes.

Under the supervision of an Ohio-registered pharmacist, you will follow established procedures for equipment and supplies, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent) and Ohio pharmacy technician licensure.
• Must be registered as a certified technician per Ohio State Board of Pharmacy (ORC 4729.90).

Responsibilities

• Handle storage, distribution, packaging, and labeling of drugs following procedures.
• Perform related record-keeping and patient charging tasks.

Performs the manual technical tasks involved with the proper storage, distribution, packaging, and labeling of drugs, associated record-keeping and patient charging systems. Works under the supervision of an Ohio registered pharmacist. Follows proper procedures for the operation of equipment and use of supplies.

Education, Work Experience and Licensure:

High school diploma (or equivalent) plus a combination of training and work experiences that indicate possession of the skills, knowledge and abilities required for this role. Must be registered as a certified technician as defined by the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy in ORC 4729.90.
