Job summary

Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge, part of Covenant Health, is seeking a Materials Management Technician to manage storeroom operations, maintain inventories, and support daily supply distribution. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, data entry, and local travel as needed at Covenant Health facilities in East Tennessee.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma, basic typing and math skills, and familiarity with computer systems.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read with comprehension and perform basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Unpacks items received and verifies shipment accuracy.
• Maintains perpetual inventory records via data entry.
• Conducts periodic and annualInventory counts to verify system accuracy.
• Delivers stock and maintains supplies in department areas and off-site locations.
• Cleans, prepares, and stores medical equipment per infection control standards.
• Prepares return paperwork and property cards for records.
