Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge, part of Covenant Health, is seeking a Materials Management Technician to manage storeroom operations, maintain inventories, and support daily supply distribution. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, data entry, and local travel as needed at Covenant Health facilities in East Tennessee.
The successful candidate will have a high school diploma, basic typing and math skills, and familiarity with computer systems.

Job Objectives:
Requisition, receive, store, stock and distribute supplies and maintain inventories according to established schedules and procedures using data entry for stocking lists and inventory control. Requisition, receive, store, stock and distribute medical supplies. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and obtain a valid driver's license.
EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
A high school diploma or its equivalent is required. Courses should include typing, mathematics, ten key calculator. Must be able to read with comprehension, write legibly, and perform basic arithmetic calculations. Must understand instructions and be proficient in the use of a ten key calculator or computer calculator keypad. Familiarity with computer hardware and software is preferred. Must be capable of successfully completing on-the-job training in hospital methods and office procedures.
EXPERIENCE:
Storeroom, inventory control, detail posting experience, and understanding of hospital supplies are preferred.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONS:
Employee must have a valid Tennessee driver’s license Class D and state mandated minimum insurance coverage. Driving record must meet Covenant Health minimum standards at the date of hire and throughout employment tenure.
