Job summary

UW Medical Center-Northwest in Seattle is seeking a Materials Handling Aide 2 (Temp, Per Diem) to support supply chain operations, stocking, scanning, and distribution of supplies to nursing units and clinics.

This on-site role requires a high school diploma and at least 6 months of supply chain experience. The fixed-duration appointment spans 12 months, with variable shifts and per diem scheduling.

Qualifications

• High school graduation AND 6 months of supply chain experience
• Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration.

Responsibilities

• Deliver supplies and packages to various nursing units, clinics, and other locations utilizing appropriate signature technologies
• Perform issues and credits in Workday, ensuring the cost of the items are allocated appropriately
• Utilize various computer technologies such as handhelds, package scanners, and software programs
• Manage rental equipment, including rounding in nursing areas, verifying correct charges, ordering needed equipment, and discontinuing unneeded equipment
• Answer phone calls and emails and respond to customer service requests
