Position Overview

The Hospital Manager partners closely with the Medical Director and leadership team to ensure smooth hospital operations, strong team engagement, and an outstanding client and patient experience.

You will oversee administrative, financial, and personnel operations while empowering the team to deliver high-quality veterinary medicine every day.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily hospital operations and workflow efficiency
• Hire, coach, mentor, and develop veterinary support staff

• Manage scheduling, staffing levels, and productivity
• Oversee budgeting, inventory, and financial performance
• Ensure compliance with medical, safety, and regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Previous veterinary hospital leadership experience preferred
• Practice Manager, Hospital Manager, or strong veterinary supervisory background
• Knowledge of veterinary operations, staffing, and workflow management
• Experience with high-volume surgery or shelter medicine is a plus
• Strong communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills
• Passion for animal welfare and accessible veterinary care
• Ability to lead with empathy, accountability, and positivity
