VCA Tamalpais Animal Hospital in Mill Valley, CA is seeking a Hospital Manager to lead daily operations and guide the team in delivering exceptional patient care and outstanding client service.

Reporting to the Field Leadership team and Medical Director, you will mentor staff, manage budgeting and KPIs, drive growth, and foster a collaborative, compassionate workplace built on respect for people, pets, and the community.

VCA Tamalpais Animal Hospital is seeking a Hospital Manager to join our team! This key leadership role requires someone with strong interpersonal and organizational skills who can help us continue delivering exceptional patient care and outstanding client service.

About The Role

Under the guidance of the Field Leadership team and in partnership with the Medical Director, the Hospital Manager plays a critical role in the hospital's daily operations. This includes supporting the team, overseeing business functions, and ensuring a culture of excellence in both medical care and client service. You’ll be responsible for mentoring and developing hospital staff, managing operations and facility maintenance, supporting business growth and profitability, and helping to build a collaborative, respectful, and compassionate workplace.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support the veterinary, technical, and client service teams in achieving hospital goals
• Foster a strong hospital culture focused on quality care and client satisfaction
• Partner with the Medical Director to develop and implement operational goals and hospital policies
• Manage hiring, performance reviews, and team development, with support from Regional leadership

Pay Range & Benefits

We offer a variety of compensation models that provide flexibility and reward your strengths. The annualized base salary for this position typically ranges from $75,000 to $90,000, based on experience and credentials.
