Miami Neuroscience Institute Baptist Health South Florida is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform daily routine maintenance across HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, painting, and related systems. The role involves responding to calls that affect the hospital environment and equipment, with a flexible schedule including on-calls and weekends when needed.

The ideal candidate brings 3-5 years of trades experience, holds or is pursuing a Florida license in a related field, and

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, or related trades.
• On-call and weekend availability as required.
• Florida license in one of the trades preferred.
• Ability to read and complete reports in English.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine maintenance checks on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building components.
• Respond to department maintenance requests to ensure a safe hospital environment.
• Repair and replace fixtures, valves, pipes, lighting, and building surfaces.
• Enter maintenance data and work orders into the system.
• Collaborate with contractors and manage simple repair estimates.
• Maintain inventory of common maintenance items and supplies.
