Job summary

St. Luke’s University Health Network is seeking a Maintenance Technician to inspect, test, maintain, install, repair and modify hospital systems and equipment.

The role may coordinate with other craftsmen and requires strong communication with nursing and staff to ensure patient care and a safe environment. The candidate should have at least three years of trades experience in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry or electronics, with a valid state driver’s license and technical certification

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in trades in Engineering preferred.
• Technical school certification may substitute for up to 18 months experience.
• Valid state motor vehicle license required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, maintain, install, repair, and modify hospital systems, equipment, and structures.
• Coordinate work with other craftsmen to complete tasks.
• Perform preventive maintenance as assigned.
• Develop preventive maintenance routines with supervisor.
