Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago, IL is seeking a Maintenance Technician I for a full-time day shift (Sunday through Thursday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM). Pay ranges from $25.30 to $37.95 per hour and benefits are eligible.

Qualifications

• Must have basic computer skills and be able to use CMMS and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Performs facility and equipment maintenance per codes and standards.
• Documents work in the CMMS.
• Maintains and repairs mechanical equipment (motors, pumps, conveyors, doors, fans, boilers, etc.).
• Maintains and repairs patient care equipment (beds, wheelchairs, carts, tables).
• Maintains mechanical/electrical systems (HVAC, refrigerators, piping, electrical).
• Completes routine maintenance in grounds, carpentry, painting, and snow removal.
• Responds to emergencies (leaks, floods, power outages, etc.) and to occupant requests.
• Performs zone maintenance rounding and keeps stakeholders updated.
