Job summary

Prime Healthcare in Evanston, IL is hiring a Full Time Maintenance Technician to keep hospital systems running safely and reliably. You will troubleshoot and repair mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, plant maintenance, and medical gas systems, while maintaining logs and ensuring a safe environment for patients and staff.

This position offers day, night, and variable shifts. A valid state driver’s license and at least two years of hands-on maintenance experience are required.

Qualifications

• Able to troubleshoot, read schematics, and/or blueprints.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience with mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, plant maintenance, and medical gas systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate logs on all equipment in hospital and provides for a safe working environment.
• Also maintain and repair equipment including, but not limited to, mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, plant maintenance, and medical gas systems.
• Driving as needed for company business.
