Job summary
Centerpoint Medical Center in Missouri is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the facility and ensure a safe, therapeutic environment for patients, visitors and staff. You will perform preventative maintenance and repairs across HVAC, plumbing, electrical and related hospital systems, with daily logs and coordination of work orders.
The role requires a high school diploma, potential vocational training, and a valid driver license, with shift Tue–Sat days.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- Prefer vocational trade school or apprenticeship education
- 3 years’ general maintenance experience preferred
- (DL) Driver License required
Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment by following Safety Program and Infection Control protocols
- Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance programs for facility equipment
- Perform minor repairs to plumbing, HVAC, walls, doors, flooring, electrical and other hospital systems
- Complete computer-generated preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment
- Maintain daily logs of work orders and manage assignments to meet customer needs
- Communicate needs for materials, supplies or down-time to management
