Job summary

Cedar County Memorial Hospital is seeking a Maintenance/Certified HVAC Technician to ensure safe, reliable operation, maintenance, and repair of hospital facilities, HVAC, and related infrastructure. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, inspections, and coordinating with external vendors as needed.

The role requires current HVAC certification, EPA 608 certification, a valid Missouri driver’s license, and a minimum of two years of HVAC service or maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• Current HVAC certification or other applicable HVAC credential required by CCMH for the position.
• Current EPA Section 608 Universal Technician Certification for servicing regulated refrigerant-containing equipment.
• Valid, unencumbered Missouri driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
• Minimum of two years of experience in HVAC service, facility maintenance, or related technical experience.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems and general building maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, testing, and repairs on facility equipment and building systems.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and coordinate electrical, plumbing, and other building components within scope of work.
• Maintain HVAC and refrigeration equipment per manufacturer recommendations and codes.
• Monitor HVAC operations, alarms, and system status; respond to abnormal conditions promptly.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate needs to supervisors.
